What did my Uncle do to my Dog and now my dog bit me?
After my uncle babysat my Dog Shylo a Male Maltese Poodle .He has never been the same and is acting very savage... He never walked in puddles before and now he barrels right through it and he bit me after I tried to put is jacket and sweater on
My Uncle is saying that My dog Shylo never new he was a male until he hung out with my him (uncle)
What can I do So he doesn't bit me when I put his sweater and jacket on....He never minded it before until he was with my Uncle
Because it is cold outside .......HELP

Your uncle made a lot of mistakes in raising that dog. & he made another mistake when he tried to take the sandwich away for the dog. Your uncle has conditioned the dog to be the way he is. It is your uncles fault & nothing should be done about the dog. Educate your uncle. NO human food, none. When the dogs gets hungry & is not fed human food he will eventually get his dog food. You can make his food taste better by making it soft by soaking it. Add some hamburger & rice to his food. You can use Chicken & rice just the same.

My friend babysat a dog once and he would act like he was going to beat the dog with a pillow all the time... he never hit him but now the dog is scared of pillows...

Either you get him neutered, or you put him out to stud! The males of any animal species get aggressive when they are denied sex. As for your uncle, I really don't know what he has to do with the situation??!! Perhaps you should find someone for him too. Greetings from Obaluaê, Brazil.

NEVER leave him with your uncle again. it sounds like he did something mean to your dog. the dog is probably acting out of character and being vicious because it suffered some kind of trauma. be firm but loving towards your dog.
