As a general rule, they don't "untie". However, most doctors warm their patients that a tubal ligation (having your tubes tied) is only effective for about 10 years. After that 10 year mark, you can become pregnant. I have a friend that had her tubes tied in 1992 after her son was born, and last year she miscarried a child part-way through the pregnancy. If in doubt, call your OB/GYN.

I have never heard of them coming untied. I have heard that sometimes they will grow back together around the tie off. I'm not sure you would be able to tell unless you had an ultrasound and they actually saw the tubes.

They aren't really "tied," they are severed. So they aren't going to become "untied." I'm surprised you had surgery without knowing anything about the procedure. The answer to your question is that you will become pregnant if your tube-tying operation failed.
