Oh dear, would I hell go back, just for the simple reason that I'd never live it down but if your mate is a bigger person than I then yeah he should go back and earn his living, it's not his fault he can't control his windy bottom! Poor guy... hey hope you and your girl find out about the prenancy hitch soon, keep me posted eh?

go back to work and make a joke about it.
say... So what? these thing happens. At least I was in work not phoning in sick. I am now clean and feeling better. and carry on working. If anyone mention this do not feel bad. Soon they will forget. There are many who release gas in the office and pretend as nothing happened.

This is the way I would approach this;
Go back in and explain to everyone that you was feeling ill, but, with it being your first week you didn't want to let the firm down, which was the wrong choice then make a joke about it...before anyone else does. It will soon be forgotten. good luck.

Yes I would go back and crack a joke about being so nervous at my new job I sh*t myself.
Im sure his work mates know he is not a serial sh*tter. He can explain as you have it was his first week and didn't want to let his new company down.
He will be admired for it. Everybody I know has had similar accidents although maybe not in work, so nobody can judge him harshly.

Its better to inform the concerned person about what you are suffering (sickness) and ask for a couple of days more to recuperate and report back to your work. There is no harm in telling them the truth.

Depends on if I like to eat or not. You know the old adage is true, "you dont work you dont eat" so go back all men fart so much these days it is a competition to see who farts the loudest. just suck it up laugh at yourself and tell the people you work with to get over it.

It will be yesterday news much sooner than you think. If job is good it's better to keep it. But it's better to not to go to work next day.Little gap in time and it's should be OK

I'd go in. Although it may have been embarrassing for your friend, his co-workers aren't paying his bills. Here's a suggestion for an ice breaker: joke about it. Everyone has those moments when they are totally mortified. You just have to chalk it up as one of those moments and go on with life.

A bit late to blame it on the dog......he could go back to work and make a joke of it - perhaps wearing cricket whites and put a whoopee cushion on his chair......I'm not sure he's ever going to have a good nickname though
