Hello Princess,
I have not been responding to them for awhile, but it seems others still like to fuel the fire of hate. As long as they don't get a response they may stop coming here, but on the other hand there are still folks who just like to argue!
GLBT ppl ROCK!
Have a good evening princess.

You make a great point. I feel compelled to respond to bashers sometimes, but bashers are also a major reason why I never bother coming to Yahoo answers anymore. The amazing amount of ignorance here was depressing. It's true that they post to get attention. If we ignore them they might not all go away, but we'd probably get fewer as those that did post would probably stop posting after one time without any responses. When we respond they're often fueled to post more and more offensive statements. And even if we can't make them stop, by not giving them our attention we're also not wasting our time and energy, cutting a source of stress out of our life. It's not like anything we say is going to convince them anyway.

You are so right Princess. If these people to not receive a response from their inappropriate behavior, they would not keep provoking us and stirring up drama.
I also believe that some of the the responses from the LGBT community are way out of line. We strive for acceptance and tolerance but some of the responses are so hate filled that it only makes the situation worse. Kill them with kindness is my motto.

sometimes, people may ask questions that are against being gay. it doesnt necessarily mean they are trying to be mean. some people could just be curious as to why you've become gay.
as long as the topic discusses homosexuality it's allowed to be posted here, even if youre against it. if you do not want to answer the question, then just skip it.
HOWEVER, some of these questions are full of hatred and stupidity. those questions should be reported, but dont report a question just because youre against it.

You have a fair point. It's important not to rise and not to sink to their level... we are HUMAN after all. As for me, I report all of those "bashers" because its inappropriate to use this as a soapbox to spread a message of hate for anything. It's hard to enjoy myself here now because I seem to spend more time reporting abusers than actually answering questions which is really frustrating.

God says, its to do with the 2 points fixation. Still I suppose you have a point, the problem is its been made before by many people and as you can see, no real change.

I'm not responding. I'm simply reporting the bashers, marking them thumbs down and moving on.

I have said this repeatedly, and I agree. If you all would just stop letting your emotions get the better of you and just report them without responding, eventually they will get bored and pick up their toys and go home.

Its entertainment for bored people on both sides. it happens in all the sections. Go look at the ford verses chevy. the vegetarians verses the meat eaters.
Peace is not the absents of conflict , its the ability to cope with it.
