Possible fuel filter. How do the plugs look? When it's missing, shoot some starter fluid into the intake. If it starts running smooth (on all cylinders) then you are not getting fuel to one or more cylinders. It's a very common problem when you have trash in your fuel system. If the car doesn't run smooth with the introduction of starter fluid, then you have a cylinder that is not getting any ignition (no spark) and this could be a plug, plug wire, or coil. Need more info to help any further. Hope this does help. Good luck.

Sounds like a fuel problem. Fuel pump could be going out. Also check the fuel pump relay and the fuel filter. Or a head gasket.
