If you are trading for McGrady and Simmons it is a very bad trade. Let's take a look at each player and their worth below.

Jason Kidd - Former Superstar that contributes in steals, assists, some points. He is aging but still can give you help in multiple categories. His main drawback is his poor FG%

Rashard Lewis - rising Star that is a three point threat, gives rebounds, and is a good scorer. Decent FG%

Raymond Felton - I heard he still may backup Brevin Knight..but his minutes are increasing..he gives you points and assists..and maybe a steal.

Brad Miller - Was a Fantasy Superstar awhile back..but now still a very good center. Centers are hard to come by and Brad contributes in multiple categories..I have won using him on two of my teams. He gives you good FG%, good amount of assists for center, rebounds, blocks and a little scoring. His scoring used to be better but has since diminished.

Tracy McGrady - Injury-prone ...one of the greatest risk/reward players. He can give you 20pts/5reb/5assists and a three pointer and steal..but also can get injured. He is an excellent scorer when healthy but suffers from back spasms.

Bobby Simmons - Role player that gives you three pointers, decent FG%, and some scoring...He can rebound some but not great. I also heard he might be out a month being injured.

So when you look at it objectively..the person who is receiving McGrady is at an extreme disadvantage if he gets injured. Even when not injured..it is still not a good trade because Kidd and Lewis are better than McGrady combined. And Brad Miller is better than Simmons for sure.

It is good for the team receiving 4 starting players in exchange for a starter and a role-player. Kidd, Lewis, and Miller are All-Star caliber players and Felton probably will be. The trade would never work because of salary differences, and the fact that these players are all on different teams.

The person who gets Jason Kidd gets the much better end of the deal, no matter what the scoring system for the league is.

TMac even at his best year isn't going to be THAT much better than 'Shard.

Bobby Simmons is just a pointless throw in.

Is this new news or something that you want to see happen? Kidd for McGrady would be a good trade since it would reunite T-Mac with Vince Carter; a dynamite duo. But I wouldn't go as far as trading three players for one. I'd probably try to get a 3rd round draft pick along with Simmons though.

It's risky. It depends on whether or not t-mac can get back on the top of his game, but for now, I'd say it's a bad trade. J-Kidd And R. Lewis are great players.

T-Mac i dont think is worth j-kidd and reshard lewis PERIOD.
Jason kidd belongs in new jersey he still is the best passer in the nba remember (1 of the best) and he and reshard lewis can put more numbers then t mac can any year.

(not trying to mean or anything)
