For me, obviously, would be the Norse demi-god Loki.
From what I've read: god of mischief, born of an Ice giant father and human mother, ate the heart of a witch causing him to turn into a woman and give birth to the three Fates. There's more but I haven't got my notes handy.
I looked him up at Wikipedia but found it contradicted with the previous books I'd read.

I'd say Loki, the Norse trickster god.
He could change his shape: he turned into a fly, a falcon, & a horse.
He had great stealth: he cut Sif's golden hair while she slept, and took Freya's necklace off her neck without waking her.
He was also responsible for getting all the Norse gods' best stuff:
- he got the walls rebuilt around Asgard
- he got the dwarves to creating Thor's hammer & Freyr's folding boat
- he gave birth (as a mare) to Odin's 8-legged horse.
Loki is also destined to lead the army that overcomes the Norse gods at the end of the world (Ragnarok). All in all, basically nothing happened in the Norse myths that Loki was not involved with.

I think that it would be the Askeladden Of Scandinavian Mythology because he is an ordinary guy mocked by his peers who always gets caught up in adventures with Trolls, Princeses and the like and he usually has original ways of solving problems.

Well, Cupido and Afrodita are the most exciting as both are related to sex.
If you are talking about other kind of exciting I would say Quetzalcoatl, which is one of the major characters in the Aztec mithology, half bird, half snake.

The Hindu God, Agni. Only deity known to be described as "made of fire". Agni took three forms: celestial as the sun, atmospheric as lightening, and terrestrial as fire. There are fire rituals associated with this deity.
