There's this guy I like in my school. He has a lot of friends that are girls and doesn't really hang out with guys that much. Does that seem gay? What other signs are there to predict if a guy is gay or not?

Would he rather stay home and make homemade strawberry jam than go paint balling?

Does he like to watch Project Runway instead of the ultimate fighting championships?

The best thing to do is watch his eyes as a good looking guy passes by. If his eyes follow and lingers there - He's gay...

Well, being gay myself I think I can shed some light. I WAS THAT GUY!!!! But trust me, you won't be doing him, or yourself (in the long run) any favours if you ask around.

If you really like this guy, you'll respect him enough to ask him in private if he'd be interested. That way, neither of you are placed in an awkward situation should he reject you. Who knows, maybe he's not gay and actually quite a ladies man who would be more than willing to go out with you. However he could also be Gay and if that's the case, then be kind and don't let your upset and/or disappointment get to you. He could turn out to be a really great friend and ally!

Well, it happens to me as well, I'm much closer to girls than to boys cuz I was raised by women, but I'm not gay, I get that a lot tho...
I think the sign you're looking for is seeing him making out with another dude, cuz after all that's what gay means, a guy that likes other guys, not a guy that has many girl friends or that likes fashion and to dress well...

Just because he has alot of female friends and very few male friends does not make him gay. That my friend is stereotyping. As for your question it is very difficult to figure out if a guy is gay or not, why because gay people come in all different areas. Before people who were gay dressed and acted a certain way. Now they have no particular way to identify them-self. Some act feminine, some act masculine, some wear tight clothes, some wear baggy clothes, some have lots of guy friends, some have no friends at all.

Don't worry or talk about gay or not gay. Not all teens mature at the same rate or time. Your deliberations about that boys sexual preference could lead to big problems for him in school that he might not be able to handle.

Hanging out with alot of girls means two things;

He is gay or
He is a genius

The best way, watch his eyes, watch what he is watching, see if he is checkign out girls or guys, wether he hides his sexuality or not, he will glance if he is interested.

And if all else fails, get him alone somewhere and whip off your shirt, and see where it goes. 100% guarenteed to get you accurate information.

Are you thinking that this guy is gay cause women want to be around him, and he prefers the company of women to the company of men?

Uh, isn't that what being heterosexual is about? I'm confused.

The moment you see him kissing another guy or catch him having sex with one... Otherwise why are you worried about it? Talk to him if you need to know ..
