It's so annoying!!! I just changed the string too because it was doing it on my last one.

Try general position of your finger on the fret board, it helped with mine.

All fool around with the pressure you're applying to the string and fretboard, you may need adjustment with that as well.

If this doesn't stop then focus on your pressure you hold the strings down with. If you're doing a part with multiple strings involved then practice it over and over. When I first started playing Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" I had fret buzz like crazy on low E and A. I just practiced it a lot and it's since gone away.

The string is called a "low E".
1. It might be in the way you "fret". Maybe you are "damping" the string accidentally. You may not be fretting correctly. Try more pressure or a slightly different angle in your fingering.
2. Maybe go to a lighter gauge string so the string won't be so thick.
3. Maybe file the fret wire on the spot where the string contact is made.

it could be that you're not putting enough pressure on it but if thats not the problem, theres something called a truss-bar that runs through the entire neck of the body, you should have either a flap type "thing" just above the nut or a pick guard you can take off and see where it is. you can then use an allen wrench to adjust it (it moves the necks shape from convex to concave and vica-versa to make playing easier or get rid of buzzing) thats all there is, unless your string is out of tune.

THE FIX depends on whether the guitar is Acoustic or Electric ......YOU NEVER SAID .
But if it is an electric, raising the bridge may help . On either Electric or Acoustic, a new NUT may be needed .......one that has a less-shallow notch under the 6th string . Go to any guitat dealer and tell him what I said, and he'll know what I mean . Also, he may be able to do some fret filing to resolve this , but don't you try it .
