No...I think Materazzi is jealous of Zidane because he drew quite a lot of attention for his headbutting... Materazzi secretly wishes that he was the one that did the headbutting, not Zidane...
And what's more, Materazzi failed to get Zidane's jersey...He wanted it, didn't he?

I doubt it. Zidane has accomplished more in his carreer that Materazzi probably ever will. Anyone who watches Serie A knows that Materazzi is a thug. I'm not judging him for that because every team needs that type of player. I'm not even going to judge him for what happened at the World Cup because he basically won the game for Italy by beating Zidane mentally. But when it comes down to him, Materazzi has nothing on Zidane.

Zidane is a very independant man. He only did what he did because of the stupid player insulting his mom and sister. He does not give a damn about Materazzi!+Zidane is a great player why would he be jealous of a piece of **** like materazzi.!!

I don't see much reason for either to be jealous of each other, other than Zidane being jealous of a 2006 FIFA World Cup gold medal, but Zidane already has one for the 1998 tournament anyway... and a silver one from this year.
