That's an old card you have -even older than my 5200 card.
Unless the game specifies that you NEED 256 megabytes of video RAM to play the game, then you should be able to run it. You'll have to disable a lot of 3-d features in the game though.
To make sure, you should go to half-life 2's web site and make sure that there aren't any special 3-d video card features that are required by the game.

Well the game may load up, but you will not be able to get any decent graphics at all. You need a video card upgrade before you try to play that game.
