i havent had my period yet, i am a bit ditsy with my pill takin. i have tried the injection before and had side effects which i didnt like. im not too afraid of gettin pregnant its just the uncertainty, its hard to take a test discretly in my situation. i will just have to wait to see if i do have a bleed and then start taking my pill, if its after the date i am due to start the next 21 pills.

No you need to take a test. If you cant remember to take the pills correctly then use a different form a bc so you dont have to go through this again. Take a test before taking anymore pills.

Sounds like you have no clue as to how to take your pills. Start a new pack?? Did you ever finish your last one?? It is unclear, are you on your bleed? "it's the time of the month?" Did you have a period? If you are "due" to start your new pack but have not had a bleed or it was unusually light or short you MUST take a pregnancy test. If you mess your pills up this bad every month, you probably have break through bleeding/spotting all the time so who knows where your hormones are. You need to take a pregnancy test if your period is late and you may be having symptoms. If you are on your "break week" of pills when you should normally bleed, then you are lucky. There is a very good chance of you becoming pregnant due to missing pills. If your test is negative and/or you have a "normal" period start a new pack and use a back up method the first two weeks (CONDOMS), Ever hear of Plan B? aka "the morning after pill"? You can use that for back up to help prevent pregnancy when you screw up your pills. Ask your healthcare provider ideally as it is too complicated to explain here just what you need to do next based on the info you have given.

Just a simple question, if you're afraid of getting pregnant, why are you infrequent with taking your birth control pill? I would get on the patch, ring, or shot, which dont demand daily consumption.. Also, I would take a pregnancy test, just in case.. I was scared to take pregnancy tests, but you should to put your mind at ease..

are you regular? I've had some friends who had "scares" and are not pregnant. Sometimes stress can change the time you have your period. Dont know much about the pill but i heard if you missed a day or two it messes everything up and its like starting all over. Hope this site helps...

You should get tested and find out for sure if you are preggo. Studies have been done that show there is really no harm to baby if you continue taking bc after you find out. Although why take the risk. Take a test and find out. Good luck!

no you shouldnt start your next pack untill youve seen the doctor or tryed taking a home test. if you do start taking your next pack it shouldnt hurt if you are pregnant but make sure you go see a doctor just incase!
