I would get the hell out of dodge. That happened to me a lot in a house I used to live in. It was a shadow. It didn't have a familiar shape. It kind of warped and warbled in one spot. I would always see it around a corner as it whatever was casting it was watching me. Every time I went to see what it was it wasn't there anymore.

Ghosts, perhaps? No laughing, I have had several experiences with my own children reacting....very strangely at times. Watch the movie "Stir of Echos"

At MY house with no neighbors in the Bush , I would be pretty freaked out!!!!
But im sure you dont live in the bush , so the kid is probably good at hiding!
