I have seen it done many a times.... depending on you age the excuses vary
- interferes with school work / sports
- Parents said I have to quit
- better job came up
- the truth - you don't want to work
just try to give the 2 week notice so you don't burn your bridges...

One of my first part time jobs in school was taking cases of empty bottles off of a soda delivery truck. There was a lot of glass dust on the floor. I wore out a twenty dollar pair of shoes on it the first day, and earned about fifteen. I didn't come back for day two, didn't even bother to call.

I worked at as a cashier at a grocery store and I left after one week. The pay sucked and the customers were too demanding.

i quit a job after the two week training, i said it wasnt for me. You can be honest and say, you dont like what you do. It has only been a week, it is not like you need them to hire you again if you dont find anything else, plus the holiday's are coming lots of retail places are hiring.

I would never hire you to work in my store. Your use of the English language would preclude you. Yes many young people have quit in a matter of hours. They never gave a reason. They just left, walked of and never returned.
I hope you can read and understand this. My suggestion to you would be to stay in school or return to further your education. Trust me, you'll need it.

I've never taken a slacker job (no offense) but you can afford to be honest. "I hate this job, it pays welfare wages and the people are rude assholes" seriously, are you ever going to be able to use that place for job history? not after a week kiddo.
