Hello cabrobst (cabrobst)

You have posted content to Yahoo! Answers in violation of our Community Guidelines. As a result, your content has been deleted.

Question: If I understand correctly, I can avoid having to answer to God for my sins if I start believing in Jesus?

Details of Violation: If you don't have to die from a disease you are partly responsible for giving yourself, shouldn't you just be grateful and take the cure? And having had your miserable life saved, wouldn't you do your best never to get sick that way again?

I am going to answer your question honestly, so please do not give me a violation.

The religion section of yahoo answers is a crazy place that has very little to do with religion, more a lack thereof because it is overrun with people denouncing religion. I myself am an atheist, but I do not understand half of what goes on in there. I just avoid it. You are almost guaranteed a violation when you go in there, but this is also just my opinion.

Yahoo controls this forum, so you are supposed to play by their rules. It's sort of a "You have freedom of speech, but just as long as it stays within our guidelines" That being said:

The guidelines of yahoo answers are not upheld, they are abused, and when someone reports you it is just sent to an automated system which hands out violations like candy. I'm not saying your question was in violation, as many that are reported are not, but yet, if no one reports it...well, you get the picture.

You do have the right to free speech, but they have the right to not allow it on their web site, which is the property of the Yahoo Corporation. And for these violations, I dont think they actually read them, somebody didnt like your answer and reported you, and Yahoo doesnt investigate, they just delete and send you the notice. I got one recently that wasnt insulting at all, I think someone just didnt agree with what I had posted. I followed up with Yahoo, trying to get them to reconsider and to penalize the person that reported me, but of course, that would require human intervention, so nothing happened. So, just roll with it, dude!

no could desire to amend the form, Federal law ought to accomplish the activity. I do opt for u . s . a . to lower back far off from the "firms are human beings" doctrine. yet proscribing speech isn't the thank you to do it, proscribing their capacity to effect elections and law is what's mandatory. yet isn't there a difference in nature between %. and international Widget? i think of shall we do without %..

I don't see a problem with your answer. If they don't want to allow people to discuss this topic freely, and with respect, then they need to remove the category. I've seen some really bad posts by atheists and others that never get removed.

Your right to free speech is the right to voice your views and opinions without needing the approval of the goverment or powers that be.

Yahoo is a private entity, and is under no obligation to supply a free forum to you, and can put rules on the use of their services.

The government can't have you arrested, supposedly, for espousing your opinions in public.

However, if I decide I want to wallpaper your house with pro-NAMBLA literature, you are under no obligation to allow me to do so or to leave it there, because it's your house, your rules.

Private vs. Public.

You're free to have the opinion, and to speak it, that you believe I'm a miserable S.O.B. If you want to speak it in my living room, I'm free to show you the door.

It means that someone somewhere took offense to your question and yanked the Yahoo Answer Team's chain to get you pulled off the net.

We don't have a universal right to free speech. The owners of a private forum can censor anything they like (just like you can throw anyone you like out of your living room if you don't like what they're saying).

I don't understand that myself. There is no inappropriate language or racism. Maybe for "miserable life" but i can see you weren't insulting the person. That is totally misclassified.
