Yes. But you would not get a majority consensus. While most people agree that they dont like the war, most that I have talked to understand that it is not a good idea to pull out. But most people believe what they want to believe, and if you believe that most people think we should pull out you have that right. Asking a question on here is the worst way of getting an accurate picture of who thinks what, instead may I suggest that you talk to your friends, neighbors, and family and not start with the assumtion that we all want to pull out now. Start with the question of "Do you think we should pull our of Iraq or stay in Iraq at this time?" That at least illicits an honest response.

At first, I was going to say it was bad question, but then I realized it is an excellent question. Thumbs up
The reason is it clarifies the issue. I believe most people realize that the war was bad (not wrong) to start, but also realize that we can't just abandon Iraq. We want the troops out but we know the consequences of just pulling out. So the question is how to stabilize the country, save face, and hopefully leave it in free self sustaining democratic hand? There was to be an agreement between the Sunni's, Shiite's and Kurds that will grant each group power without limiting rights of Iraqi citizens What that agreement is, I don't know.

I have no idea. Most people seem to think that to pull out now would only cause more problems, but you have to think about the voting capabilities of the citizens of this country. While more people might vote on this issue than the one dealing with electing the country's president, you can't guarantee one way or the other. There is also the fact that some people don't seem to know how to actually vote in the first place.

In all honesty, I doubt we would have gone there in the first place. We probably would have stayed to finish the job in Afghanistan, instead of redeploying troops to go to Iraq. We have Saddam, and we're still there. Yet Bin Laden remains free. It was stated by GWB on the pile of rubble that was once the WTC, that he would get whoever did the attack. No results, and $450 billion + later, still nothing.

All elected officials are there to run the country for the wishes of the people. But the fact is, they do what they want for the better of themselves. All the special interest groups and the lobbyists should be thrwn out and forbidden to make deals with our elected officials. With them gone we the people would stand a chance. They should also stop taking raises and work for a more realistic salary.
My answer is no!

let the military and their families vote. They are the only people making any sacrifices for this war, what do " the people" know about what is REALLY going on in Iraq,NOTHING. We the people have turned into a sorry mess and our armed forces have been carrying all our asses since 9-12-01.

All statistics show that most Americans want the troops out of Iraq and feel that they never should have been there in the first place.

Unfortunately we can't just pull all of our troops out because we have made the whole region unstable but we just can't stay the course of playing the sitting duck.
Thanks to the Bush administration we are pretty much screwed.

Yes, unfortunately, because we cannot morally destroy a country and walk out without making the people of that country think they are in a stable environment. Basically, we will be there until the end of the world.
