I cant say that its better to never have loved than to love at all. But I think that you will never know what your missing out on. Sometimes things work out for the best and sometimes they dont but at least you gave someone a chance to see what love you can give them. Dont be so dwn you will find someone else when your ready the heart will heal in time.

But had you never had the heartache, you would never even know what you DON'T want!

Yes, it's hard.
Yes, it will take time.

In the end you are going to look back and THANK him for forcing you to realize that you really needed. He has opened your eyes to a world of dating that was great and still will be great, even if it isn't with him.

If you had never loved at all, what would that give you? Living in a bubble isn't going to protect you from everything.

I am so sorry for your dilemma and wish I could help you but cannot. In time beleive me this will pass you will get someone else and the other person will be forgotten.Dress up and look your best, that person is waiting for you,go find them.It is a normal reaction from a caring and real loving person as yourself.
It is pointless in discussion with others on the subject, they do care but they do not understand we do dont we.

When you are going through it you think it is better to have never loved at all. But when you are past it you know it is better to have loved. It's an experience of life and makes you stronger and more understanding of others. Wish you strength and good luck.

I experienced this when I was in my teens and difficult as it may be now life does go on.

Time is a great healer. Go forward with Faith and love for others and you will come out the other side.

Good Luck.

Each relationship makes us stronger, we go into the next with our luggage, good and bad. Keep your head up honey it gets better. A life without love is one not worth living. We all will probably have many loves, only makes us wiser.

its worth giving love a chance but it really hurts when it doesn't work!! i was with a guy for 3 and a half years and now, 2 years on i still cry over him!! its pathetic i know but cant help it!!

if i'm totally honest i wish i'd never fallen for him! but you can't help how you feel and at the time i didn't know it was gonna end in heartache!!

much better to be in your position than to have never known the feeling of loving and being loved. Everything has its balance I am afraid. Pain goes hand in hand with love.

Yes cos it was the love journey that was amazing not the end result. knowing that you were once in love is better than dying without the knowledge of what love is.
