No they are no longer an endangered species, yet they seem to be a threatened species.We look to like to eridicate our mammals right here as i replaced into watching a tutor the different nighttime that suggested that we've controlled to have the optimal fee of eradication of community mammals interior the international. some checklist isnt it.

I agree with dragonrider707. For a start, darl, they are not bears, they are marsupials the same as kangaroos, they raise their young in a pouch. And no they are not endangered. In Australia they are protected. We are not allowed to have them as pets. I hope that answers your question.

I don't believe they're highly endangered just yet. But people need to be wary of wrecking their natural enviroment at the rate that the bush is being cut down. If their environment continues to be disrupted with new houses being built etc, then there will be a real risk to their numbers.

No they arent endangered but like all Australian flora and fauna they are protected which means people cant just come and take them or have them as pets. They have been threatened in the past by a viral infection but they arent endangered.

Because the 'big people' with power want them to be. If people want them saved they should allow the common person to have them as a pet. Other people can grow the trees for them to eat, or the 'big people' can make some special pet food for them (like they do with every other pet out there). If people really wanted to save their species there are ways...
