Considering he is your best friend - I would hope you like him and I would hope he is nice.
Did you mean you are interested in moving the relationship in a different direction? Well, then you need to make a move and see if he responds - but know that this might make it strange between you two.
Good luck

If he's your best friend you probably are already having deep private talks together. Next one, ask him if he thinks he'll ever get married, and what he hopes his wife will be like. (Not what she will look like -- of course he thinks he wants to marry some hot young celebrity at this point in his young life -- but ask what he wants her to be like personality- and character-wise.) Listen to him describe what he wants, and long-term try to be that partner. (DON'T tell him "Hey, that's just like me" or anything obvious, because if he can tell what you're doing he'll resist.) You two must have something good growing together or you wouldn't be best friends. Just let it grow, be his buddy, and he'll realize some day that you're the one that he wants. Good luck.

Be open and honest with him.it will be very hard for you to do especially if you are very close friends.Just tell him exactly how you feel about him maybe he feels the same way about you. just let it flow.
