marks and spencer are the only place in uk that have assistants trained to serve the customer properly.

I doubt you will ever experience this. The assistants seem to feel we are intruding on their rights to be individuals in their own way. How they equate that with being employed by an outside party is anybody's guess.

You will only get that in South Africa!! They are very good with that, and if you are not satisfied you can complain to a special organization set up to keep the industry standards high!
