I have been told it was from lack of sleep and I was short on sleep two weeks ago but I am caught up now. It is distracting to me since I speak to people all day long... Any ideas or suggestions to make it go away?

I have this same problem. I have noticed that it's worse when I don't get sleep, and when there is something that is bothering or stressing me. I can just think of something stressing and my eye starts twitching.
I guess I haven't really given you an answer really, but I have found when I relax and try not to get stressed about things, and get enough sleep it's better.

Go get a roll of Tums or the soft chew calcium tabs and eat about four of them in rapid succession. It will be gone within half an hour.

Sounds like stress. It only happens to me if I'm over worked....You should go for a walk around a nice park or just take time to read a good book.

Stress causes this. This is an involuntary muscle spasms. As for when, could be another week, could be a couple months. Sorry about the news.

No real way to make it go away except reduce your stress and get more rest.

See a chiropractor. You may have a pinched nerve in your neck.
