I voted for Bush and am generally Republican but I am finding it harder and harder to say that he's been doing a good job.

1) The national debt has increased by $2 trillion dollars since he has been in office.

2) The intelligence used to justify invading Iraq was extremely flawed. There were no weapons of mass destruction.

3) The Iraq invasion was poorly planned and implemented. Iraq is a far greater threat to the US today that it was when Saddam was in power.

4) World opinion of the US is at an all time low.

5) Guantanamo Bay is a disgrace to human rights.

6) Many former Generals and Colin Powel have all spoken out against Bush and Rumsfeld.

7) The FEMA response to Katrina was very poor - despite years of beefing up FEMA after 9/11.

8) I don't think we've made any real progress on securing US borders since 9/11. No progress towards controling cargo container contents either.

9) Iran and N. Korea are becoming nuclear powers and we can't stop them because we spent our load on Iraq.

Sorry - Bush has proven himself to be below-average in intelligence and in general, an idiot. It will take the US decades to recover from his blunders. He makes Clinton seem harmless by comparison.

i am a president supporter. i didnt vote for bush or kerry but i support whoever is in poffice. i think it is sad that people seem to be unable to embrace the difference on which the country was founded. it seems to have become a system in which the party in power is opposed on every level ybb the losing party and this gets nothing done. what i would like to know is why are there not term limits for congressmen and women

Although there are many who post to this site, I am not one of them.

(I've lately been toying with the idea of posting a Bush approval question to Polls, just to see how what I would get compares to what the real polls say. But now, I can just WatchList this, instead.)

Bush has gone too far to the right, and is a warmongerer.

He is very unpopular in many regions of the nation.
