IS IT TRUE THAT WHENEVER YOU GET FIRED AND YOU ASK FOR THE PAPER STATING WHY YOU BEEN FIRED ITS NOT REALLY GOOD FOR THEM BECAUSE THEN YOU CAN GO TO THAT WORKFORCE AND GET MONEY BECAUSE YOU DONT HAVE A JOB..IM WONDERIN BECAUSE PEOPLE HAS BEEN SAYING THAT THEY OFTEN TELL YOU TO COME BACK..AM GOING TO GET MY PAPER TOMORROW IN THE MORNING..BUT IS IT CONVENIENT OR NOT CONVENIENT FOR THE EMPLOYER?

Radio Shack just emailed everyone that they had been laid off. At least that what I heard on the news.

No they do not have to give you anything, it's actually in their best interest not to, Because when you file for unemployment, they can then state whatever reason they want to, IF you go and they ask you do you want your job back and you refuse it, it will VOID your unemployment claim, For the simple reason they asked you to come back to work, IF you know you were fired, DO NOT ask why, it may hurt you, not them, Just file for unemployment or find another job

Anytime you are fired or laid off you become eligible for workers comp.

The only thing that I would say is that whatever the reason the company places in the letter they are now stuck with. So if you ever sue them for wrongful termination they better have the evidence to that reason or they would be screwed.
