I'd thank him.
He's the only one on there that gives a good opinion, and if I were up there, I'd want to know if I did poorly or not. I can usually tell, but if I missed something, I'd rather be caught on it so it wouldn't happen again and I wouldn't lose the audience's attention.

I'd say f***k you, I know I'm a good singer and I dont have to go to an audition and be insulted, and if your so special, why dont you sing and we be the judge you so called bigshot.
But if it was really bad: well what can you do? I tried my best so shut up!!!

Most of the time Simon is right.
Anyone who can't take criticism, doesn't belong in the public eye.
I would thank him for his opinion and try to improve whatever he found lacking.
