Thank you for stating this question in a way that is neutral and not leading. I would tend to say that (Even though I'm a moderate Democrat) the party has done worse. However, this is because politics as a whole has gone down the toilet. Conservatives deserve blame too. The bottom line is, politics as a whole has become worse in the past 30-40 years.

Worse. Democrats became the Leftist Peacenik party and have ventured away from it's moderate stance back in the 60's and 70's.

Both parties have gotten worse. At one time, they were willing to work together.... anymore they want to follow only their party lines and screw the people of the country.

Basically because they will be Conservative on one issue (only because the Republicans are liberal on it) and then try to be liberal on the next issue (only because the Republicans are Conservative on it) Fact is neither party has a clue anymore.

In moving to the right, it has changed for the worse.

It has sold us out.

(I can't help thinking they've literally sold out, in the sense of taking paybacks to lose, but I know that's just being paranoid.)

worse. they have abandoned the moderates for the extremists and alienated everyone who doesn't go for their extremist views. its a shame really as most moderate dem's think most like moderate rep's. its the extremists on both sides that cause all the problems

lol...yeah right....no a leopard never changes their spots....remember the right wing "conspiracy". Liberalism hasnt changed since Johnsons new deal in 1967 and hasnt worked properly since then either.
