i just got an ipod nano today for getting 8 teeth pulled out and i was wonder if there was a way u could get songs without using itunes

No, unfortunately you most use Itunes.. its free at www.apple.com. Also, remember to register the device. If you can, use the CD the ipod came with.. thats a most for the first time.

Not possible. The only way to transfer songs to and from any type of iPod is to use iTunes. iTunes is a free download though so download the program. You can then add any songs already exisiting on your computer to iTunes and then transfer it to your iPod. An alternative way is to enable disk use (open iTunes connect your iPod and click on Enable Disk Usage, the box needs to be checked) then you can use your iPod as a flash drive and put songs onto it as you would a regular USB flash drive, but you can not listen to the music songs on your iPod if you transfer them this way.

you want itunes, there are some different classes, yet they are more advantageous than itunes, and if i tunes runs sluggish on your comp, then those wont paintings. and the different classes corrupt aot of the songs, and your ipod will freeze and also you've were given to re-set it alot. sorry, improve your somp, yet an exterior hardchronic, and positioned alot of issues on that, and delete alot out of your computer.

mipod and yamipod are both programs that will allow you to control your ipod without itunes.
