Oh, you're wrong!
Many people living around and near Loch Ness believe in Nessie and each year, thousands of visitors are easily convinced by them to "look for Nessie". So convinced that they willingly fork out millions of pounds a year in the hope of a wee peek at the famous creature..
So, don't let anyone knock the idea or rock the boat 'cause Scotland could use a "Nessie" in every Loch.
Cheers! :)

Yeah, right, "she was wearing a kilt and playing the bagpipes"! Lots of people believe in the Loch Ness monster, but I doubt if anyone would buy that story. Kilt and bagpipes!
Lots of people have seen "Nessie", but... WHAT is Nessie? And people never hallucinate, right? Some say she is a submerged tree trunk that periodically rises to the surface, due to gas reactions in the peat, or something like that. Others say she is a giant sea otter. One photo of her turned out to be the fin of a killer whale, if I remember correctly. The most popular theory is that she is a surviviving plesiosaurus from the dinosaur age. Problem: Loch Ness is quite cold, so it seems unlikely that a huge reptile would find it comfortable or could even survive there. Also, Nessie has been sighted fairly often at least since the 1930s, so she is either VERY old, or there is a breeding population of them. IF there is a breeding population of them, what do they EAT? Is there enough fish in one land-locked lake for a family of carnivorous reptiles to feed on & survive? This seems fairly unlikely.

I'm with you! people dont believe in things they havent seen because they are afraid of other peoples perceptions of them if they do. If more people said they believed, it wouldn't be seen as a crackpot idea by the masses and therefore would make it easier for people to admit that it COULD be true. The perfect example is religion, ANY religion, because so many other people believe in something that has no physical proof they're not crackpots, just faithful. And yet NO-ONE has physically SEEN god!!, but hundreds have seen nessie so I say good luck to em! I dont personally believe in either nessie or god, but at least I've got the balls to admit its coz ive not seen them instead of just shouting NUH-UH NO SUCH THING with as little or less proof than the people who do believe. Jeez I can ramble!!

Because they were not involved in finding or seeing that creature and did not get paid. They grow to hate the luck of other that were in the right place at the right time. The answer is as simple as that..............
