Read the word and definition, close your eyes and repeat it to yourself.

Write each out several times

Make flashcards and have someone test you

Come up with hints for yourself about each word to help you remember their definitions.

Good luck

If I was you, I will use flash cards. While you are spelling, the word, try to say it in a way that you will remeber. You can rap spelling, the words, sing or anything. When you write down words and defintions it increase about 30% of the knowledege of the topic. The rest is from you studying, so try to have fun studying but study. I wish you the best of luck and I hope that you will pass. Try to use the word in a sentence, or try to find something in the word that reminds you of something. For instance, sunny ( sun is in the word). Good Luck :)

All the prior answers are good. Here's another trick: Use the word in a sentence that implies its meaning and make the first word of the sentence start with the first letter or syllable of the word you're trying to memorize.

what i usually do is use note cards, on one side i put the definition and on the other i put the word. I usually have someone read the word to me so i can spell it and say what it means. It helps me out a lot. good luck!

use flashcards, put the word on one side and the definition on the other. You pick up random cards, either side. If you pick up the side with the definition, you need to identify and spell the word. If you get the work, you need to give the definition
