I can access some secure sites, but not all, & unsecure sites including mcafee sites.
i have windows xp pro, with sp2 recently downloaded & IE v6

Quite honestly, and after many years of experience, I'd recommend getting rid of McAfee and/or Norton, and using either the free version of AVG anti-virus, or AVAST anti-virus. Below are the links for each. Updates are regular with both, and are totally free.

Mcafee are not always that clear on instructions, you should change to Norton , much better by far and plenty of support

turn your security settings DOWN to medium and allow ALL internet access then you should stil lbe secure

why not try the usa site or some others
