I want to find a job and all i know about is MONSTER.COM. What else is out there. Are there any places to got to find out about government jobs, civil service jobs?

Non for profits like the government offices and civil services do not have the budget to advertise on monster.com, hotjobs.com, careerbuilder.com etc. Nor do they have the money to hire recruiters like Kelly Service.

The best place to look is the city and state offices web sites.

An US government sponsored web site might have what you are looking for, www.ajb.dni.us, and also check
www.bestjobsusa.com

I found that yahoo's "hot jobs" is great I found my last 3 jobs from here!
