I open doors for others, even tho I am a woman, I think it is nice.
If I have any spare change, I leave it to whatever charity is collecting.
On the highway, I leave a little room so cars can get in,
To put it short, if I have a little, even though a cook doesn't make to much, I give it back.
If I have a little extra, I am ok with giving it back.
Sometimes I make dinner for a friend, sometimes it is a person on the street that I give change to. It all makes me feel good and I like to think that maybe someday, I may be one of the homeless unfortunates and somebody might help me.
Please don't tell anyone. I don't like to be seen as a softie.
You asked a really good question and I had fun answering.
I like your avatar, did you know she, Sandra Lee, was married to Bobby Darin? I just watched a bio about them. I like your name also, I have a mutt named Pepper, because of his coloring. Send a note to me from here if you want. I like to get and answer e-mails.
You did me a favor with this question, I was feeling down in the dumps but answering this "charitable question" reminded me that Maybe, I am not such a bad person. I also like the answers you got.
I don't play for points, I am just glad I stumbled on your question and thanks for letting me answer it. Sometimes I get to find another nice person to write to.
Everytime I find a good question like this, I would like to ask the person who asked it the same question back.
I think you have done a charitable act, but, did you seek any recognition for it?

I have done quite a lot over the years, sometimes nobody finds out who has contributed to what ever it was, and often it's not important for them to have know. So we do these things on the quiet, and we feel pleased we were able to help. Deep down inside us we think calma - yes- you get back what you give out in life in lots of different ways. But you will always find the bright spark who tells you "Oh! well done you will get your reward in heaven !! " True isn't it ?

The most random Acts of Kindness that came to my mind was the words everyone said to me when my wife passed away.
"I'm Sorry"

Thank you for reminding me. I will have to be more aware of opportunities to do random acts of kindness. If you tell anyone, they don't count. That's the rule.

I have and I keep it to myself. If you are that type of person you are being kind, not for recognition, for the act itself. The reward is the smile you put on someone face.

Random acts of kindness are a wonderful thing. it is up to you to decide to keep them private or discuss them with others.
Sometimes privacy protects your feelings and that of the recipient

I have, I haven't told anybody what they are, and I'm still keeping it to myself. It's more important to store up treasures in Heaven than get recognized here on earth. God Bless!!
