Just to get the support for the UN Resolution against North Korea.Does japan needs real protection from USA? Whatever Condy said is a matter of foreign policy from the White house.

I sincerely hope not. My hubs is waiting to go back to Iraq for the 3rd time and even though I hate him going there, I don't wanna have to stretch our armed forces any more than they are already stretched. I realize that we are the USA, but still, does Japan really need us to be there? I mean come on, they so can defend themselves, we saw it then and it still stands to be true. I just hope and pray that this action is not needed, but should it be, God Bless all of our brave men and women who will end up going over there.

I think its a bad idea, I just think the US has bitten off more than it can chew this time with the crisis in the middle east, the war with Iraq and Afghanistan, and possibly with North Korea. No wonder every country in the world hates us, we can't keep our noses out out their business!
