I'm 23 and due with my first this weekend. This baby was not planned but I think the timing was right. In fact, I think it's usually easier when the pregnancy is not planned. Money is tight but we own our home and cars, have loving supportive families right around the corner, and my husband works hard to provide for us (I do work, I just started my maternity leave early). Things might be hard for awhile but I know that everything is going to be fine and will work out. It might've been nice to wait a little bit longer so that we could have more time to work out details like daycare and how/when/where I'm going to work after my maternity leave is over but it's okay, we'll figure it out as we go. I do miss going out with our friends sometimes too. None of our friends are married or have children so we're kinda the odd ones out right now.

I was 21 when I gave birth to my first child...I can't say whether or not I wish I would have waited longer. Financially I would have been in a better place, however I play the cards that I am dealt and have made the most of it! Overall, I wouldn't change a thing!

I was 25. Sometimes I think it was a good time, but sometimes I wish I would've waited longer. I keep hearing recently of people traveling and I wish I would've done a lot more traveling before I had a child. I love her though and wouldn't trade her for anything!

I was 18 when I had my first baby. I had my last at 24 and I wish I would have waited until I was 24 to have my first.

I was 18 when I had my daughter and 23 when I had my son.
I do not regret having a baby this young. Saying i regret it would be like saying I wish I didn't have my daughter. I love both my children and believe it our not I do not regret one thing in my life. I am a strong believer that your actions have a huge effect on your future and if I had of done anything different I might not have what I have today. Two beautiful children and a wonderful husband.

Was 19 and 24 when I had my third. Now I am 48 with a 29, 25 and 24 year old and 2 grandchildren ( 4 and 1 year old) and one due any day and feel great. I still have energy to play with them like I played with my kids.

I had my 10 month old daughter about a week after I turned 24 years old. I will give birth to my second child about 2 months after my 25 birthday.I am glad I had them when I did no sooner no later.

I was 17 and to be completely honest, though it was far from planned I wouldn't change it if I could. My son has Asperger's Syndrome and I have learned amazing stuff from raising him! I am now 23 and have another little boy, who is normal developing so far and while I do notice a difference due to the years I am just glad that I am still young enough to have the energy and thirst for knowledge to deal with my special needs child and now another baby too!
