it's brown in anda up side down cross on it back and the cros is white and below the cross there is two white dots

FYI - Black widows have a red cross or spot, and I think that is only the females.

look on the Internet, do a yahoo image search spiders, my sons do it all the time looking for different spiders. Good luck to you, and if it is in your house i would kill it. God bless

Sounds like a black widow, they just discovered a new species of the black widow that is actually brown not black.
It is very poisionous so stay away or kill it.
