Absolutely Rock.
It's so diverse and it's been going on for decades now not to mention about 75% of all widely-recognizable songs are rock songs.
Rap, it's credentials aren't as good. A large % of all rap artists have been arrested at some point in their lives and it serves little to no purpose except for public rebellion and somewhat serves as a stress reliever.
