Its mostly bashers and whiners anyway. These questions could be asked in the family and relationship section.

Believe it or not, I'm going to agree with you to some extent. LGBT have families and are part of families just like straight people, or people in-between, and should be included in the family section.

I really think that Indy's suggestion is the best one - an ignore feature, especially if it could be applied to an IP address, would work marvelous wonders. Not only would I not have to wade through all that drivel - and not just from bashers, there are other trash posters here - but the offenders would not get any attention, which they so desperately need.
It has to work off the IP address because many of the bashers have learned the cloning and multiple screen name tricks.

Well, the section is set up for the same reasons as the other sections, for people who are intersted in, look for opinions regarding or curious to ask questions related to, however, you have the standard as in the other groups of complainers, whiners, racists, hate mongers and just plain vulgar idiots, but it is all entertaining. The section should remain open and the people who fall into the above mentioned categories of personalities should be flagged and reported for abuse and up to the point before they are removed, laughed at and amused by there stupidity.

Dude they would have to close all the sections. The whole place is full of bashers and whiners. There are many nice intelligent people here too.

Whiners like you, you mean? What difference does it make anyway? The bashers and whiners will still be there no matter where you ask the question.

It's possible. But it would really need to be efficient and with great power of knowledge and evidence that can proof that why your wanting to shut down yahoo section. First you have to have people band together and stand by your beliefs and your opposition and than it could happen. But first you need to rally people on what you think its right or wrong. With the power of people you'll be amazed what we humans can do as far as bring changes within societies. Examples of this would be the French Revolution or the Iranian Revolution. Good luck!!!

Report the bashers and it'll all be okay. Shutting down this section just adds fuel to the fire of hate.
