i LOVE that movie. it is soooo sad.... what a sad story.. i love james edward olmos (stand and deliver), and j lo is a good actress, she just got her glamour and music in the way. back then she was ok with looking messy, now all her movies she looks Exactly the same, all glamorous.. it's stupid.
anyways, that actress who was Yolanda... i hate her! hahaha.. she is great actress too...but in that movie, u want to kill yolanda!!! sh'es so creepy and gross...u want to tell selena to get the hell away from her!!!

The siblings were like my family- 2 girls and a boy, and we were physically built the same as the sibling too.
I loved the movie, and so did my kids ( I bought them the dvd!)
I still cry at the end. And, after watching the E! True Hollywood Story, it makes the movie even sadder!

i assumed it become ok. Selena Gomez did a geat interest and the dancing become super, however the plot become in each single place and not that sturdy. there have been a some humorous areas and that i think of like somebody else stated it had a astonishing start up, even though it could have been plenty greater effectual if the plot become written greater effectual

It's one of the few J-Lo movies that I liked. It was a really good movie and even now I can't watch the ending when they show all her pictures while she is dying.

hi,, i have good friends from Corpus Christi, and they told me about the movie before it broke out in the news ..
It promoted J-lo from no one to miss hotty for her carrier..
It was sad, true, and a crying shame,,that it had to happen to such a wonderful young lady with her whole life in front of her..
Thats all i got to say about that---(forrest gump).....
PS:they have a nice statue of her in Corpus if your ever there..and her shop was or is still open i think...
good luck

I thought it was a very good movie. I didn't know who she was...until she died. A well told story line but yes, very sad.
