I was wondering what year it was b/c my grandpa was in the war and he always told me about it and now i can't call him b/c hes not home and i need to know and i thought maybe someone on here could give me some info on it so plz will u help me????

I don't mean any offense but is this a joke? If it's not then your school is not doing it's job. It's probably one of the most famous dates in American history, right after July 4, 1776.

That is a very important day in American history, and I find it a bit sad today's youth don't even know when it happened.
