Now that's a difficult question isn't it. Some people say that the best way you can get along in life is by being yourself. But what if being yourself is the problem - as in your case?

My guess is that you're not really being yourself. Try being yourself but dropping the negative attitude - like putting others down or trying to prove you're better than everyone else. Attitude is not who you are.

Attitude isn't always a negative thing though. Some guys actually find women with a bad attitude quite attractive. It may come down to who you're with as to what attitudes you can adopt and which ones you should avoide.

You may be able to be difficult with your brother but would that really work with your boss, for example?

First, it's normal for you to be going through what you're going through. But, never change yourself because someone else has a preceive idea of what they think you should be in order to be your friend. Even if you did get them to know you, don't force it. Let your light shine with the personality that God has granted you to have. And they are probably jealous, because they see something in you that they don't have and they don't like you because you are living with the trait that they want. So, if they don't get to know you for who you truly are, it's their loss. Either way don't let them get you down or punk you. Keep ya head up and be yourself.

The first and most important life lesson we all need to learn is to not care what others think, it's what we think of ourselves that matters. I am a B****, but a good kind, the kind that fights for the rights of all people and truly believes if we don't love ourselves we can't give real love to others.

you answered your own question, always stay true to who you are. so what they think you're a b*****, maybe they are too. People will like you no matter what as long as you keep on keeping it real and always be who you are with no regrets. If you are a backstabbing gossiper change it, but if you are a true friend and genuine nice person people will flock to your personality.

Say "HI" to people and smile when you do. Make small talk with people and show that you care about their issues at hand.

Good Luck

C'mon you can't be that bad, you're worried about how other people see you don't you ?

Quit trying to please everybody. Just be yourself. You'll find that if you have a lot of friends, most of them won't be really good friends. Just find the few people you fit in with and hang with them. Then you'll have stronger friendships with people you can trust.

You can't get everyone to like you. It's just a fact of life. There will always be someone who dislikes you. Don't focus on them, focus on the friends you have.
