Well, with the mess the elephants have made, they'd be all to happy to hand over the S*** pile to the Dems. Isn't that always the way it is!

I think one of the house's will go to the Dem's. I'm fine with it being only one because it will help reign in Bush by providing over site, something that's been lacking for 6 years. In addition if the Dem's say only take the house and not the senate they'll be less likely to push for impeachment hearings. I don't want to see them waste a lot of time pursuing that because A, the senate won't convict because it's still republican and B, we would just end up with "shooter" Cheney as president. An impeachment would also make the political landscape more rabidly partisan than it is now, if that's possible.

No.The polling data is all hype and not nearly half of the people who think Bush and congress have let us down are ready to screw ourselves by letting Democrats run things or even have a larger say.The Democrats are in real trouble of holding what they have all you have to do is listen to all the excuses coming out of the woodwork like "October surprise",saying scandal is played out(Dems have their own scandals they don't want out right now) and the continual over emphasis on Conservatives being disheartened with republicans. The fact is all the Hype is based on voter registration and Dem registrant fail to vote in droves while Republicans nearly all do.

If they don't, then this nation is basically done for.

That said, Democrats should have a 15 to 20 seat majority in the House and it will either be a 1 seat majority for Dems in the Senate or a 50/50 split - which means Republicans would have the Senate.

Finally? They held it for 50+ years! If Gingrich hadn't gotten so full of himself and abandoned the agenda they had, the GOP would have had Congress for at least another 50. As it is, they might...but I think the GOP might squeak by.

Depending on what Bush does between now and the next election, that will decide but i think they might this time. The only way the Republicans get back in is if Bush tells of a strategy that will slowly take troops out of Iraq

They haven't got a chance because they are running on one issue "we hate Bush" They have no plan for our country.

They will not pull out of Iraq. The former candidate kerry said so when he was asked what would you do differently in an interview.
They will raise taxes. Rangel can't wait to get his hands on the Ways and Means Committee. They will defund our troops.
They will try again to form a national health care system and ruin the best health care system in the world. Do you want to wait in line for medical treatment? We're not talking minutes or hours... We're talking months and years.

If your not doing well with this administration it's your own fault not theirs.

If you don't like the war on terror TUFF we're fighting it and we will win.

I hope not! I used to believe the polls and the mainstream reporting until the last Presidential election. I actually believed I was going to lose! Phew! So, now I'll just wait until the polls close to find out, but I've got my fingers crossed and my vote(s) ready to do my part to make sure it doesn't happen!

NO

I would prefer a Peoples House to a Lobby and Plutocrat House

But I am convinced it will not happen. Dems are just to lazy.
