Lottery drawings usually vary from state to state, but "Powerball" drawings (which are nationwide) is done at 9:59 PM CENTRAL TIME & is broadcasted about 10 minutes later (usually during the first commercial break in your local news).
Please be aware that all Powerball terminals close at least 1 hour (some places 2 hours) before the drawing (again this varies from state to state), so make sure you get your ticket(s) BEFORE the deadline.
Powerball drawings are done every Wednesday (like today) & Saturday evenings at 9:59 PM Central Time.
