You can stop the acne by getting a bottle of toner called ten-o-six, will about dry it up overnight. Use after cleaning your face at night, swab it all over face & especially on the acne areas, next morning before applying make up,wash face, & apply ten-0-six,let dry & do the make-up (if U wear make up). I found mine at Eckerd's drug store.
Also another out of this world solution is a bar of Neutrogena soap, will be amber transparent in color, so amazing & is a small bar size. Also found at large drug stores. With the neutrogena soap, get make-up off if wearing it, & soap up a clean washcloth with this soap & make the suds appear on the face (or area),wash/scrub gently then rinse well, apply the ten-0-six toner when dry & apply makeup if you use make-up.
I myself prefer the brand of i.d. bare minerals instead of cream/liquid makeup You can get the starter kit around $50-60, is powder w/2 foundation,1 blush & 1 warmth (for added color), & 3 brushes. You also need to choose which color complexion you have, fair, med, dark, etc. All the correct colors are in the box/kit & a dvd comes with it to see how easy it applies-and does so, fast. No creams or gooey stuff w/bare minerals, & is a natural look w/o make-up lines from jaw to neck.

Everyone skin is different, therefore it will respond differently to products that may work well for someone else. Echoing the first response, use makeup that doesn't clog your pores, or is hypoallergic. I would highly recommend not going to a grocery/drug store to buy face products. They are full of water, fats & fillers. You may think you are paying less, but you are actually paying more in the long run. If you don't agree, take a look at the ingredients on the back of the products and compare them to something that you would find at a department store. As a professional makeup artist, I've tried many of the lines out there and I seem to favor MAC, Mary Kay and bare minerals. I know I will probably be scrutinized for mentioning Mary Kay, but when it comes to skin care they have definitely got it down and spend more in research then any other company. They have a really good acne treatment gel to use as a spot treatment. I use it when I have a small breakout and my problem is solved. They have a lot of other products that help with keeping your skin clear, so you may want to browse their website. I like MAC for its color line. It's skin care is definitely decent, but still doesn't top the results I get with my Mary Kay products. I really liked bar minerals for a couple months, but my skin didn't respond well after that. I do have a friend that I converted over to it and she won't buy anything else. One last thing, as mentioned above, everyone's skin is different. Sometimes it takes a little trial and error to find what works best for you.
BEWARE of products like Proactiv, because they are addictive for your skin and have effects like dryness and make your skin worse once you get off the product. I have heard many horror stories from people that sit in my chair about Proactiv and similar lines.

Shiny and Beautiful Skin Tips
Most of us are gifted with beautiful skin but are not careful in preserving its original texture. Therefore during the climatic changes the tone of the skin changes and turns rough. If you regularly provide nutrition to the skin it is likely to remain glowing.
The food we consume also has a bearing on the way our skin looks. Foods containing greasy, oily and fatty substances make the oil glands overactive and therefore we are more likely to face various skin problems. Water is a very good as it cleanses the skin pores. It fights against all the toxins in the body. Therefore it is necessary to consume 8-10 glasses of water per day.
Besides, scheduling an exercise program everyday is very good. The excessive oily substances are drained from your body through the sweat that is produced when you exercise. The workouts also relieve you from all types of stress that reflect on your face
directly.
Take care of your skin by applying the proper type of lotions or creams. Do not use the products that contain strong chemicals as it could ruin your skin. Do not smoke because it directly affects your skin and speeds up your ageing process.

1) Use a spf 15 face lotion, I use one from Dove that works very well, it has alot of vitamins in it also and moisturizes, and makes your skin look very clean, be sure to apply it before you make up though, because it helps blend the makeup with your skin.
2) Try Clearasil deep pore cleansing pads, I'm currently using them and after four days my skin looks ALOT clearer, also an exfoliating scrub (got2be in ur face brand works well) once a week helps to unclog your pores.
3) Try using the green correction stick available at drug stores, because green is the opposite of red it works very well and from around 1 foot away people won't even really notice them.
Hope this helps! ^.^ Good luck!!
I personally think clear skin is the best thing a girl (or boy) can have

if you do use makeup clean your skin everynight before bed, i suggest 3 step programs such as proactive or another less expensive brand is Marcelle, make sure you match your skintone properly as that is the reason your face looks fake because i wear a lot of makeup and the usual comments for me are you have such great skin tone...

Try a foundation that can be blended with your natural skin tone. Prescriptives make foundation to do just that. I'll cost you but from what i've heard from a lot of women, it's worth it. Also, drinking water is the best and natural skin clearer. Good luck to ya and here is the link to prescriptives. www.prescriptives.com You can also go to department stores like Macy's, Nordstroms to find prescriptives as well.

Makeup that doesn't clog your pores, or is hypoallergic. Look for one in your skin type like oily, combination or dry. For your acne, there are many concealers that have acne medication in it, so it gets rid of it while you're wearing it. Flirt! Cosmetics has one at Kohls in a lot of shades. Good luck!
