I bought a Happy Returns lilly this past summer, and now it is starting to give me little pods with tiny black seeds in them. I would love more Happy Returns, is there a way to plant these seeds and get more of them? I've been googling "Happy Returns" and "seed pods" and finding nothing about them, except one person thow thought that Happy Returns didn't come from seed pods. Now I'm confused. Anyone know anything about this plant??

You may want to chill them for a few weeks in your fridge before planting or plant on the winter stolice. So seeds need a certain number of hours of cold in order to germinate. I have started daylilies from seeds and they are easy to grow.

Happy Returns, Hemmerocallus/Day lily.
Like every other plant, yes they have seeds!
Yes the seeds are viable!
So how old are you?
My point is that started from your very viable seed, it will take several years before the plant is mature enough to flower.
YOU are better off to cut the seed pods off before they mature.
Then the strength will go back into the bulb, and you can more quickly and easily divide the BULB to get more Lily's than you can plant seed to get more Lily's.
I propagate perennials for my company as one part of my job.

Well I found them in Yahoo Search by searching Happy Returns lily. But, nothing is said about seeds. I would call the local garden store.
