a seizure is a sort of short circuit in the brain. There are many kinds of seizures, but the classic tonic clonic seizure results in spasmodic jerking of the body and the limbs. Typically the victim loses consciousness and after the seizure has passed goes thru what is called a post ictal phase when they need to sleep for long periods. Seizures occur in people with disorders of the brain, such as epilepsy, or possibly due to trauma to the brain. Most seizure disorders now are well controlled thru the proper use of medication.

a seizure is when the brain involuntarily allows the muscles in your body to convulse, or it can lead to a state almost like being passed out. except they may drool and make a moaning sound. during a seizure the person will sometimes shake violently. and the best thing you can do is to remove all hard objects around them and try to press on their tongue (because it is actually possible for them to try to swallow it and they can suffocate) other than that anyone can get a seizure however the most common are people with epilepsy

there are different types of seizure's and they are caused by different things .. My son started having seizures when he was 1 yrs old the Dr. ran tests and said they were febrile seizure's so whenever my son had a fever he would have a seizure he had about 6 of them and grew out of it the last one he had was when he was 5 ..the Dr. said that usually happens and he probably would never have one again .. he had some that were very violent .. one time he ended up in ICU in children's hospital from a seizure and the staff OD'd him on the drug that makes it stop and then other times he would just stare into space and i would call him and he wouldn't answer he would just make a weird noise like he was choking (it was his tongue) neways so there are alot of different causes and forms look into it on the Internet..GOOD LUCK

It is bad. Who ever is seizing is trapped going through something they cant control. They shake uncontrollably. Anyone can get seizures. Our dog used to get them. And when it was over he was mad! He eventually was put down. The seizures where constant and medicine wouldnt stop it.
