Hi, i am just wondering what mobo brand do you think is the best, and why.

I use Asus P4V8X-X. It is so cool. Asus is the best EVER!

There is no one best. It is arguable that intel is best since you also have the chipsets made by intel and many other motherboard components.
ASUS is another popular brand. Concentrate instead of on the maker but on the performance and features that you need in a motherboard like the number and type of slots for example.

I have Intel mobo for my P4 & ECS mobo for my Athlon. Both are working fine. I think as long as you have heard of the brand before, it's okay.
Keep electronic device from dropping & moisture, you are good to go.

Since Gigabyte and Asus Joined together they would be the best. They were the top board manufactures. DFI makes some good boards too.

i think the best brand is gigabyte, i have built about 100 computers and 99 were gigabyte and had no troubles, but the 1 ASUS board i used failed.
