i was so scaried but dont understand why i couldnt scream,today my ex-boyfriend came outta of nowhere and punch me as hard as he could in the GUT,gosh i thought i was dying it hurt so bad ,im 22yrs old and couldnt scream for help ,why ? he walked away laughing ,,was this reaction normal or should i be worried im 5"6 120lbs ,it still hurts,,anyone else ever have something like this happen to them?

You couldn't breathe or make a sound was a normal medicial reaction, because you had the wind knocked out of you by your PSYCHO ex. Call the cops and have him arrested for assault. Next time he might do worse! Stay safe and get his abusive butt thrown in jail!!

Um no I haven't, but the reason you couldn't make a sound, catch your breath or scream was because you 'had the wind knocked out of you', so to speak. If a grown man (and I'm assuming he is) comes and punches you as hard as he can in the stomach it's going to hurt for a little while. I'm not sure but you might want to check for bruising and put some ice on it. Oh yeah and I think you should report you ex to the police,unless he was just messing around, which I don't think he would be since he punched you extremely hard in the stomach.

a unexpected punch in the gut like that will knock the wind completly outta you girl..you will be ok your gut might be sore for some time

If hes going to hit you then he shouldn't be your boyfriend, he knocked the wind out of you , but if he hits you just right he could puncture your liver and you could bleed to death internally,you should be ok if your still here after this long,
