From what I understand the sole color of the team was navy blue. They did wear the standard white uniform at home and grey on the road, but the only trim was a navy colored word Boston on the front of the uniform(very similiar to the Red Sox road uniforms of 1945-1973, and 1979-1989).
This team eventually became the Red Sox but did not put red into the uniform until 1908.

they didn't have color back then, everything was black and white : )
