Kitna on most days, but Pennington against the Lions is a good bet.

Pennington over Kitna because the Lions defence isn't very good.

Detroit Lions are terrible. Pennington is the easy choice. But Kitna hasn't been doing that poorly.
Kitna is currently third in the league in passing yardage (1584)! Wow that shocked me when I looked it up. Pennington is eleventh with 1261 yards.
But...
Kitna has a bad TD to INT ratio...6 TD: 7 INT
Pennington has a decent one...8 TD: 5 INT
It all comes down to the defense...
Detroit allows a 247.7 pass yards/game which is third to last in the league.
New York Jets allow 224.7 pass yards/game.
Stick with Pennington. He is facing a terrible Detroit defense.

Definitely go for Pennington. The Lions won't win more than 2 more games the rest of the season.

Go with the Penn. Kitna (althou playing pretty decently) has a bad O line and his recievers are below average. His Rb situation is horrid and Lions are the worst to second worst team in the NFL.
Penn is a good arm and will be able to dice up a weak lions secondary with above average recievers. Also Penn was back in the Day (Hiesman Trophy winner) He's good the only question is his health which he is looking pretty decent

pennington. jets secondary is pretty decent so expect a couple of picks from them. kitna, even on a good day, will only put up moderate numbers.
