Don't be so eager. The best time to look for a job is when you already have one. Otherwise, you end up desperate and taking the first crummy, low paying job that comes along because if you have no income you get scared and start thinking you may not get another offer. Just slow down a little bit and you'll find something. If you are already working in a restaurant and that is the type of work you like to do, try looking for a job waitressing. Especially if you are 21. Serving drinks also serves up better tips.

I used to work at a fast food restaurant and i began dating my manager. In the end i had to quit because it created too much drama with her bosses when everyone found out she was dating someone who worked for her. It is probably best to start looking for another job now before it gets to that point especially if you intend on this being a long term relationship.

Take the new job before upper management finds out and you both lose your jobs. Not because of you being gay but most jobs have policies about dating a co-worker - especially because she is your manager. You can find a new job later if you don't like the new job. Good luck.

if both of you getting fired is a real possibility, it's probably best to take the other job right away and keep looking for something better. what does your girlfriend say?

take the other job, and keep your eyes open for a even better one. If you both get fired from the first job it will be way worse

If you need to get away from your current job, take that one and look for another job while you're at your new one.

evan is right on the money!

even if you suffer a little financially, it's better than suffering a lot psychologically at your current job
