Trust me AROD is much better,I'm sick and tired of Arod being blamed for bombing out in the post season,What about the other 28 players on our team? What the hell did they do?They make just as much money as he does! Arod can't help it that our pitching, just plain SUCKS!! He's not GOD,,He's just part of a team ,that just plain sucked in the post season!!And as for no one wanting him,,,That's bull too,,This week Cashman had calls from ,,the Angels,White sox,,Cubs,,Marlins,All wanting to know if Arod was instrested in leaving Ny,,Some of these teams are even willing to Make him a shortstop,,And they are also willing to give up their top pitchers for him,,So how bad can he be??

how can you people say that Pujos is a beter player than Arod when Pujos has only been playing for 5 years and arod has been playing for 10...alex is on pace of braking the home run record and just because he cant bat in the post season is no reason by he is not a better player...he can handle pressure...but in the regular season he is a player who bats .280 plus, hits 25-30 plus homeruns, drives in 100 plus runs and scores 100 plus runs, OBP of .350 plus, and SLG .500...pujos may have some of those numbers but when he does it for 10-15 years and is consistant in those years then we can talk

Easy answer for me . . .
Anyone that knows me knows I LOVE LOVE LOVE A-ROD,
but in terms of ball play, I would have to say at the moment
Pujols beats A-Rod by a small margin.
Pujols' got the homeruns and he's good defensively.
He's a big reason why the Cards have made it this far.
A-Rod is not playing up to his full potential right now
and whether he continues this trend remains to be seen.
A-Rod's got some great stats generally speaking but his errors,
as you know, overshadowed his overall stellar performance,
at least in the eyes of some very vocal fans and the media.
If A-Rod can get past the "under-the-microscope" feeling he so obviously gets caught up in and just plays the game he's so great at, he will be fine.
And if it has to be with another team, so be it. Wherever he plays, if he can reach his full playing potential, he'd be way better than Pujols ever could be.
Plus, A-Rod is more mature and doesn't put people down like Pujols does.
That's classy.

Look I'm a Yankee fan and Pujos because Pujos stepped it up last night by hitting that homerun against the Mets' Glavine. A-Rod had a okay season but he still sucks in the postseason. Come man, you, me and the rest of the Yankee fans are tired of A-Rod not stepping it up when it really counts. Now my brother team (the Mets) need to win the next two games to go to the WS and if not the Redbirds will. It should be the Yankees going to the WS instead of the Tigs. I know one damn thing if A-Rod and the pitching don't step it up to the next level to go to the WS then it is over because you better believe that King George will start "beheading" people heads .

You've gotta be kidding, right? A-Fraud had a .071 BA in the playoffs this year. Note that it's dropped every year since he was traded to the Yankees. Is there a more overrated player in any major sport today? Pujols delivers while A-Fraud counts all the money he's stealing from Steinbrenner & Hicks. That's right - that idiot Tom Hicks, who gave him the $252M contract to begin with. Do you think A-Fraud would even be on the Yankees if Hicks wasn't stuck paying half his salary? No way George pays full price for .071 in the playoffs. And remember that no one would take him 4 years ago, regardless of what he told fans in Texas & Boston. That's why Hicks traded him to the Yanks to rent Sorry-whine-o for a year. And at least for all of his whining Soriano delivered when the games meant something.

Want to see proof? Pujols' career postseason BA is .331 A-Fraud's is.280 and it's only that high because of his years in Seattle when the pressure was on Junior & Buhner. Who was playing last night? A-Fraud & I had the same view of the game - Fox Sports. For this he gets $25M/year? That's $11M more than Pujols for a LOT less production.

Is Pujols the best player in baseball? Maybe, maybe not. I can think of a few who are close. But I'll tell you who definitely isn't - Alex Rodriguez. He's not even the best player on his own team. Jeter has got the guts to produce & deliver in the playoffs & will go straight to the HOF for it one day. The only way A-Fraud gets in the HOF is if he buys a ticket like you & me, pal.

They are both fine players. Pujols may be better now just because he's younger. A-rod is great - he plays hard, plays smart baseball and if he could just get the post season monkey off his back, he'd have a perfect career.

A minor note: My respect for Pujols fell after his comments about Glavine in the first game of the NLCS. As a pro, you keep your damn mouth shut and do not rag on opponents. Sure he homered off Glavine in game 5 but 2 earned runs in 2 games for Glavine speaks very loudly. And, by contrast, Glavine handled it like the seasoned pro he his, actually complimenting Pujols. Albert needs to grow up a bit.

If the choice is A-Fraud or "PUJOS" I'd give it to A-Fraud. I don't know PUJOS. If you mean PUJOLS it's Pujols over A-Fraud. Pujols wins by a mile - it's not even close.

You are a STUPID Yankee fan.
